What data we collect
When you use MyWOD, we collect only what is necessary to operate the app: • A locally generated anonymous identifier (created automatically on first launch) • Email address — only if you choose to link your account via magic link • Display name (chosen by you) • Date of birth (optional, set by you) • Sex (optional, set by you) • Workout sessions and personal records you log No login or registration is required to use the app. If you never link an email, no personally identifiable information is collected beyond what you voluntarily enter.
Why we collect it
We use your data exclusively to: • Identify your account and keep it secure across devices • Display your workout history and personal records • Compute your ranking on the leaderboard (if you belong to a partner box)
Third-party services
The app uses Firebase (Google) for: • Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) — collects device model, OS version, app version, and crash stack traces to help us fix bugs No advertising SDKs are used. The app contains no ads.
How long we keep your data
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If your account has not been accessed for more than 3 years, it may be automatically purged. We do not keep any data after account deletion.
How to delete your data
You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time: 1. In the app: go to Account → Delete my account. 2. By email: send a deletion request to contact@alpes-solutions.com. All personal data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted within 30 days of your request.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. If you join a partner box, your display name and workout results are visible to that box's coaches for leaderboard and class management purposes.
Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our servers is restricted and monitored. No system is 100% secure, but we take data protection seriously.
Your rights
You may at any time: • Correct your display name, gender, or date of birth directly in the app • Request a copy of the data we hold about you • Request full deletion of your account and all associated data To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@alpes-solutions.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, you will be prompted to review and accept the updated terms the next time you open the app.
